Collaborations

Within the framework of the National Network of Precision Medicine in Cardiology, there will be systematic cooperation with the e-Government for Social Security (IDIKA) for the development of interoperability mechanisms between the Network's Systems and IDIKA's information systems, specifically:
✓ Interconnection of the PSP with the e-Prescribing System so that, given a patient's AMKA (Social Security Number), their demographic data can be retrieved.
✓ Interconnection with the Individual Electronic Health Record (IEHR) system implemented by IDIKA, allowing PSP users to access IEHR data. Data resulting from genetic tests performed within the Network and related medical opinions will be available and will form part of the citizen's IEHR, benefiting the quality of service provision by healthcare professionals to citizens. Collaborative actions between the two entities include the development of databases and information in areas of mutual interest, and the exchange of scientific personnel for studies, lectures, training, teaching, and research in general.

Within the framework of the National Network of Precision Medicine in Cardiology, there will be systematic cooperation with the National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET) to utilize available storage resources and services of "GRNET S.A." for storing data resulting from the Network's IT actions:
✓ Registry of Hereditary Heart Diseases
✓ Registry of Juvenile Sudden Death
✓ Ordering System
✓ Digital Laboratory Notebook
✓ Genetic Testing Approval System
✓ Genetic Data Repository
✓ Application for creating a national epidemiological map as well as other applications that will be developed within the framework of this project.
Specifically regarding security, GRNET, in collaboration with the National Network of Precision Medicine in Cardiology, will define all technical parameters (access protection, addressing, etc.) to protect data integrity, ensuring that only authorized entities and users have access to the network.
