Network
For the governance needs of the Network, the bodies (committees and working groups) established in the first phase of the Network's operation will be utilized. The following scheme depicts the hierarchy of the committees and working groups, as well as the way in which tasks are implemented and supervised within the framework of the project's actions.
The Oversight Committee is the consortium's highest scientific and advisory body. It defines the network's development strategy, sets its policy, decides and advises on its scientific subject matter, and oversees its overall operation and effectiveness. The President of the Oversight Committee is Panos Vardas, Professor Emeritus of Cardiology.
The Scientific Committee is responsible for the scientific coordination of the network's committees and working groups.
